Summer tour done come and gone, my oh my!
Legal cannabis delivery wasn’t the only miracle Eaze delivered in the summer of 2018.

Today, on what would have been Jerry Garcia’s 76th birthday, we’re taking a look back at our partnership with Dead & Company at Shoreline Ampitheatre in Mountain View, California; Mattress Firm Ampitheatre in Chula Vista, California; and Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, where Eaze employees handed out more than 50 miracle tickets to grateful fans.
Toting giveaway tickets in the same white bags that your Eaze deliveries arrive in, we fanned out among the Shakedown Street crowds on July 2-3 and 6-7, seeking Deadheads with their index fingers in the air, the international ‘head symbol for “I need a ticket” (and probably a freebie).
Eaze also partnered with Lowell Farms for a ticket sweepstakes that gave away dozens of tickets to all the shows we attended.
Everywhere you looked, “Eaze your face” T-shirts could be found – including on the back of Dead & Co. bassist Oteil Burbridge, seen below in an Instagram post by Bill Walton, the legendary professional Grateful Dead superfan (who also happens to have played basketball).
With an epic heat wave scorching California over the holiday weekend, Eaze family members kept on truckin’ all around Shakedown Street, handing out swag (and cold water) and signing up ‘heads by the dozen for California’s biggest licensed cannabis delivery service.
It all came to a big, blissed-out head on Saturday night at Dodger Stadium, where Eaze threw down from morning (the Eaze ’68 VW bus was one of the first vehicles on the lot), through the suffocating heat of afternoon (an Eaze family band even set up and played a few songs) and into the night, as everyone involved got to watch Dead & Co. tear through one of the best sets of summer tour.
See you next summer! We’ll meet you at the jubilee.
