Say ‘No’ to Old Pre Rolls
Check to See if the Pre Roll is Sealed
The best parts of weed are the flavorful, essential oils called terpenes, which can evaporate at room temperature. Some pre roll containers don’t seal completely, so your terps might be leaking out from the tube (which SUCKS). A fresh pack that leaks will still taste good, but any weed product exposed to oxygen starts to degrade over time. This leaves for an experience that was once exciting to a consumer, as a vibe killer.
Sniff the Pre Roll Tube
OK, so you got a fresh, sealed pre roll. What does it smell like? Pop the top and take a big, long inhale. The pre roll aroma should smell inviting, enticing your intrusive thoughts to light that baby up.
Try a Dry Hit
Take the pre roll out and try taking a few unlit puffs from the end. This is called a dry hit, and it’s a great way to gauge how much flavor to expect once you’re ready to light it up!
Inspect the Pre Roll
- Squeeze the joint to check its packing density.
- Wiggle the crutch to see how firm the pack is near the tip.
- Does the preroll look beat up or like a sleek and perfectly rolled?
- Look for ‘angel kisses’ (patches of paper that are a different shade because the oil from the bud has seeped into the paper). Oil content is a good thing! Similar to when pizza leaves an oil stain on a paper plate—angel kisses are similar and desirable.

How do you Feel?
How does the joint make you feel? Honestly, this might be the most important part. If you can relate, we’ve had some experience with smoking some synthetic, solvent-infused pre rolls with fake flavors and solvent hash, and we felt straight-up bad. Luckily at Eaze Delivery, we ensure that all our products are high quality and vetted by trusted brands across California. We take pride in giving you the biggest bang for your buck, so you can be trusted with high quality flower and products each purchase.
