May we always grow together.
The Pride celebrations of 2019 were a deepening of the bond between the LGBTQ+ and cannabis movements – we enjoyed a moment to reflect on everything we’ve accomplished so far, but with our minds ever on where we’re going, and the work yet to be done.
Across California and the U.S., Eaze and its many brand partners took part in Pride parades, panel discussions, and philanthropy opportunities, all part of an annual renewing of vows, if you will, with the community that launched the medical marijuana movement decades ago.

Eaze loves Pride! It’s truly one of the biggest moments of our year, and one we certainly enjoy. Here’s a look at the many ways the cannabis and LGBTQ+ communities committed to grow together in 2019 and beyond:
The San Francisco Pride Parade

Eaze employees, customers, and friends and family turned out to march with partners including Weed for Warriors, Operation Evac, Jetty, Brite Labs, Cannacraft, SF Success Centers, Posh Green Delivery, SF Roots, GetterDone Productions, Veterans Walk and Talk NorCal, Brotherly Love Organics, Wayne Justmann, and Norcal Cannabis.

The annual Alice B. Toklas LGBT Democratic Club’s Pride Breakfast
Ain’t no party like a Toklas party! The Eaze presence was strong at the annual event that celebrates one of the most important chapters of LGBTQ+ (and cannabis) history.
In honor of the famous feminist, chef, and cannabis fan Alice B. Toklas, the longtime partner of Gertruide Stein who stormed Paris’ salon scene after the turn of the 20th century, the nation’s top Democratic leaders and preeminent LGBTQ+ activists gather every year with hundreds of supporters for the annual must-attend event for anyone shaping LGBTQ+ public policy.

Appearances at the June 7 event featured Speaker Nancy Pelosi, U.S. Senator Kamala Harris (rocking rainbow sequins), and spirited remarks by California Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kouranakis and Senator Scott Wiener.
Holy High Tea with The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence
The Sisters are always in our thoughts, and this Pride we were happy to join them on June 29!
Eaze was on hand for the Holy High Tea event at the Zeppelin hotel in San Francisco, a beautifully decorated venue that attracted a big, lively crowd for food, a lip-sync competition, the tunes of the DJ Deep Eddy (and of course, learning about Eaze!).
DoTheGay
The Eaze Team was on hand in San Francisco on June 29 for a Coming Out party hosted by event organizer DoTheGay. Our friends at dosist joined us at the Hotel Zetta for food, drinks, music, and mingling.
Puff
Eaze is something of a regular at Puff, a queer cannabis social held every second Thursday of the month at the Stud in San Francisco. Did you think we were going to miss it during Pride?
Our brand partners were with us every step of the way.
None of this would be possible without the collaboration and contribution of our awesome brand partners, whose commitment to social causes is never more apparent than during Pride.

Each Monday throughout the month of June, Eaze featured a promotion with a giveback component, featuring brands including Punch Edibles, dosist, Plus, Kiva Confections, and Pax Labs along with selected filling partners (Bloom Farms, Brite Labs, Heavy Hitters, Island, and Jetty).
Contributions went to orgs like the GLBT Historical Society, Los Angeles LGBT Center, Harvey Milk Center For The Arts, and the SF LGBT Center. And throughout the month, Eaze donated 5% of proceeds to Out & Equal.
In all, these efforts raised more than $100,000 for LGBTQ+ causes.
