Ming Chen, star of the AMC series Comic Book Men and prolific podcaster, TV personality and webmaster associated with Kevin Smith, dropped by Studio One for a freewheeling chat with Jason Pinsky, Chief Cannabis Evangelist at Eaze and host of Pinsky and the Brain.

With Comic-Con right around the corner, Chen, who recently launched the podcast network and studio A Shared Universe in New Jersey, talks with Pinsky about “setting intent,” the cannabis industry, and his first experiences with weed – which came later in life, and mostly thanks to his boss Smith’s evangelizing.

“Back East, I was his Eaze,” Chen says, relating a story about how Smith once sent him to Long Island to meet his dealer in front of a Jewish deli. “He had a guy … but I had to go get it for him. … This was not in my job destination, but it’s Kevin.”
