Meet Michael Diaz-Rivera, Denver native and owner of Better Days Delivery.
Why did you start your company? To be financially stable for my family while advocating for those harmed by the War on Drug.
What sets your brand apart in the cannabis industry? My commitments to community and sustainability. I owe everything to my community and my goal of giving back and using my platform to fuel my people instead of the traditional transactional process of taking away without repair.
What is the most valuable takeaway you’ve gotten from the Momentum program? Access to nationwide network and resources has been unmatched with any other accelerator program that I’ve experienced or heard about. The grant money allowed me to extend my financial runway at a time that I couldn’t afford to keep going without it.
What advice would you give to your younger self? Forgive yourself and keep going. All of those mistakes are setting you up for the better days that are on the way! Your time is best used for healing your family, your community, your relationship with money, etc.
