The origin of legal medical marijuana is deeply connected to the LGBTQ+ movement going back decades, as activists fought every step of the way for access to cannabis for HIV and AIDS patients in need. As we celebrate Pride festivals across California this month, we want to acknowledge the strength of our communities’ bond, celebrate how far we’ve come together, and commit to the work that still lies ahead.

Eaze is committed to creating workplaces that are welcoming and supportive of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer employees. That is why for the month of June, Eaze will be donating 5% of it’s proceeds to Out & Equal, a non-profit dedicated to achieving LGBTQ+ equality in the workplace.

Pride stands for promotion of self-affirmation, dignity, equal rights, a community, and a celebration of identity and diversity. It’s a celebration of accomplishment, but also a recommitment to the future. As a movement intrinsically linked with the LGBTQ community, the cannabis industry stands in support, and is proud to be involved.
