Just add water.

The elevated culinary creations of Atlas Edibles make it one of the most innovative companies in cannabis, so it should come as little surprise that their new beverage mixes aren’t just a high-quality product – they’re a quantum leap in marijuana-infused drinkables.

Just like Atlas’ dreamy edible granola clusters, these single-serve beverage mix packages are infused with full-spectrum pressed rosin, the truest possible expression of the plant’s complexity. A delicate hint of sweetness comes from the pure cane sugar required to make the rosin water-soluble, and the dedication of founder (and former chef) Ezra Malmuth to a quality food experience ensures they are refreshing and delicious.

But it’s the effect that will impress you most.

All three flavors – Raspberry & Hibiscus, Pomegranate Green Tea, and Lemongrass & Ginger – dissolve easily into any kind of water, making them convenient for on-the-go. They act much faster than conventional edibles, with some people reporting effects onset in as little as 10 minutes.

And with 10 mg of CBD and 5 mg of THC per serving, Atlas beverages are balanced toward relaxation, recovery, and rejuvenation, with just a delicate wisp of uplift to ensure the “entourage effect.”

“This is a CBD-focused product,” Malmuth says. “It’s a little lighter than our granola products … it’s great as a recovery beverage, or for anti-inflmmatory or anti-anxiety purposes, and it acts really fast. The granola we advise 30-90 minutes for full onset. This beverage for me works in 10 to 20.”

When that wide spectrum of cannabinoids, terpenes, and other compounds hits your endocannabinoid system, you’ll sense a difference from single-compound extracts – like a soft glow as opposed to a harsh light.

“What we’re really capturing is all those other compounds that are in rosin,” Malmuth tells Eaze. “It’s the most bang for your buck. And that blissfullness, it’s a little more balanced – when you take the right dose, it feels more grounded.”

Keep your powder dry.

While most cannabis drinks are bottled and have a short shelf-life, Atlas beverage mix packets can fit in your pocket, and are labeled to last for a year. That makes them great for travel, but also stocking up for emergencies or the longer-term – unlike other methods like flower and edibles, which need to be consumed in a matter of weeks.

Though Atlas isn’t the only water-soluble cannabis currently in existence, it is the first powdered beverage mix, and the only such product using full-spectrum rosin. Working with expert chemists, Malmuth believes Atlas has cracked the solubility challenges that cannabinoids present better than anyone.

“Other companies that make water soluble products, there’s always separation, and it’s hard to gauge consistency,” he tells Eaze. “We wanted a product we felt anyone could mix with confidence. That starts with the core ingredients.”

Have it your way.

While the standard is to mix a full packet into 12 oz of water, the possibilities are endless.

“Hot or cold, bubbly water, in a cocktail,” Malmuth says. “You can really mix it however you want. I think one of the most beautiful things about this product is that you can blend it to your own specifications. You want it sweeter, or less sweet? Use less water, or dilute it more. I love the Lemongrass & Ginger in hot water, for instance.”

Atlas beverages are gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan, with just a hint of sugar and stevia. Even the coloring is all-natural – beet powder, in the case of the Raspberry & Hibiscus and Pomegranate Green Tea flavors.

And as obsessed as Malmuth is with flavor, you’re guaranteed to pick up on the intricate interaction between mixed-beverage and a delicate, deliberate hint of cannabis taste.

“When you have a really good palate,” he says, “you can pick up on the terpene note.”
